I’m Ezra. I was inspired to start Beat the Bots Resume after my own tough experience finding work after leaving active duty Naval service.

I realized the main barrier for most applicants, like myself, was that the way we are taught to format our resumes just doesn’t work for the Applicant Tracking System Software (ATS) that the majority of employers use. This means most resumes you submit never get reviewed by human recruiters.

Most services on the market right now are automatic scanners or AI tools that give bad content advice and even worse formatting. Trust me, we’ve quality-checked dozens of them and they don’t deliver on their promises to beat the ATS bots, and there’s no guarantee your data won’t be scraped and sold to data brokers. We are proud to be 100% human written, tested, and powered! Your personally identifiable data stays safe, and we will never use AI tools as a shortcut.

My mission is to empower job seekers, particularly those with non-traditional career paths like myself, by teaching them how to craft resumes that get scanned correctly and stand out. I facilitate workshops, give personalized career coaching, and resume writing services. Our services come without judgment, and with a deep understanding of how the many intersections of our identities influence our career journeys.

I have over a decade of experience across both blue and white-collar industries which shape my approach to mentorship, education, and community building.
